AIA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS: ENHANCING THE LEARNING PROCESS

Hope’s Windows is a registered provider for the AIA CES program.  We offer 1 hour Lunch & Learn seminars that are HSW/SD certified and provide participants with 1 Learning Unit. Hope’s also provides a comprehensive manufacturing plant tour with participants earning 2 Learning Units. 

The Renaissance of Steel Windows:

Designed to explore the features and benefits of modern steel windows, this program will broaden one’s understanding of the raw material and fabrication process. The presentation covers modernizations and improvements that have developed within the steel industry. It will strengthen the participants’ understanding of where and why the product is applicable.

The program is a PowerPoint® based format using physical samples and open discussions to further enhance the learning process. There is no cost to bring this program to your firm or chapter meeting.

The Security of Steel:

The Security of Steel program was designed to explore the features and benefits of steel as it pertains to the detention window. It will broaden one’s understanding of the manufacturing and finishing process of the steel detention window. The presentation will also address the importance of certified testing and performance data.

This is a PowerPoint® based format using physical samples and open discussions to further enhance the learning process. There is no cost to bring this program to your firm or chapter meeting.

The Manufacturing of Hot-Rolled Steel Windows and Doors - A Plant Tour:

Hope’s also provides a comprehensive plant tour at our facility in Jamestown, New York.  We guide you through the steel window manufacturing process step by step—from shop drawings to the finished product.  Hope’s uses the most advanced technology while still maintaining the integrity of a handcrafted product. 

This plant tour will demonstrate the unique capabilities that hot-rolled steel offers as a window and door material. The physical attributes of hot-rolled steel—strength, durability and life cycle—are apparent throughout this tour. A combination of old skills and new technology make this a learning experience unlike any other.
