Hope’s Product Lines By Function
Single & Double Hung Windows
Single hung window — also known as single-sash window; a type of window with two sashes stacked within the frame, typically a lower, operable sash and an upper fixed sash.
Double hung window — like a single hung window, except both sashes are operable and slide up and down within the frame, overlapping each other.
A single hung window may be configured with either the upper or lower sash as operable. The operable sash slides up and down within a track in the jamb (side of the frame) overlapping the fixed sash while the fixed sash remains stationary.
The following Hope’s product lines are appropriate for single hung steel windows. For assistance selecting the best product for your design vision, contact our sales team.
