Steel Windows for Mid-Century Modern Restoration

Vincent Massey Park – Ontario, Canada

The pavilions, refreshment stand and bus shelter at Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa, Ontario are highly acclaimed mid-century modernist masterworks, receiving the prestigious Massey Award for Architecture in 1958 and the Ottawa Architectural Conservation Award in 2012 following a meticulous restoration.

The old refreshment pavilion was brought back to its original state and updated to contemporary standards with a focus on historic preservation, enhanced functionality, ease and low-cost of maintenance, life-cycle and environmental sustainability.

Hope’s provided Jamestown175™ Series historic replacement steel windows for the rehabilitation project. The new single-hung steel windows are energy efficient, sustainable, and will provide exceptional performance with minimal maintenance for generations to come.
