Manufacturing Positions

Hopes and Ironworkers Shopmen’s Local 470 featured in the May 2015 issue of ironworker magazine.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our products are 100% custom, which means each project is completely unique. With every order that comes through our door we encounter a new set of challenges. Boredom and monotony are simply not an option! Craftsmanship and creativity – from engineering to manufacturing to finishing – drive us and infuse a sense of pride into what we accomplish every day.

We work hard but that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun! We celebrate holidays together, have company lunches and informal barbecues on our wooded hiking trail, and celebrate safety milestones with pizza parties and monthly/quarterly cash drawings.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY CONNECTION

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
A Hope’s Windows scholarship opportunity is available through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation for the children and stepchildren of Hope’s employees. Students may apply online at  CRCFonline.org.
FAMILY OUTINGS
Past years have included events such as our 100th Anniversary Open House & Carnival, Children’s Safety Village, Midway State Park, Lake Erie Speedway, Jamestown Jammers Bullpen Parties, Snow Tubing at Peek n’ Peak, and even a picnic with legendary NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly!
UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY
Our United Way fundraising event is a highlight each year featuring a catered lunch, 50/50 raffle, and dozens of raffle baskets with cash and other great prizes. Every dollar raised from employee gifts, event proceeds and corporate donation stays right here in Southern Chautauqua County to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community.
HOPE’S CHADAKOIN TRAIL
Employees are encouraged to use the half-mile Chadakoin Trail throughout the year to hike, bike, cross-country ski, snow shoe or have a picnic. The trail was built and is maintained by Hope’s employees and families who gather each spring for a fun workday with outdoor projects for all ages.
