Steel windows manufactured by Hope’s Windows were chosen and have performed extremely well as anticipated. The finish of the steel windows is beautiful and has shown no sign of deterioration in spite of the salt water that surrounds us. The realities of our harsh winter climate can be most unforgiving, yet I have seen no evidence of condensation around the window frame or on the glass. Hope’s steel windows have the thermal efficiency and resistance to condensation that is required in even the most severe winter environment. If Hope’s windows can perform this well year-round, on the coast of Alaska, I would think they would work anywhere!

No one can say that the Switzer [Modernization project] was an easy window project. To replace the existing windows with new ones was in itself a challenge. Adding to this level of difficulty were the government’s exacting parameters, such as windows that had to look like the historic original but have a high performance and be blast resistant presented a full plate of challenges. Hope’s was prepared to handle challenges such as these and did so in an extremely competent and expeditious manner. Hope’s team of window experts quickly attacked the Switzer Modernization project with gusto, brainstorming to develop workable custom solutions for our special conditions. Solutions became accurate engineering documents, which then transformed into steel frames and sashes exactly on the dates Hope’s promised. Hope’s team was a pleasure to deal with. While our contract with Hope’s was only for the furnishing of windows, it was the assistance Hope’s provided during installation that demonstrates Hope’s commitment to quality workmanship. Hope’s on-site help during the installation was invaluable in coordinating the countless little details that contributed substantially to reducing window installation time. My thanks to Hope’s. The Switzer windows project could not have come to fruition so seamlessly or expeditiously without the dedication and attention to detail by the whole organization.
